WOW

Wow. I forgot I even had this blog; in fact, I have never made a post here before. I had decided to have a look at my old (fashion-related) blog with the intent of posting some new stuff after an extended absence and I discovered this on on my owner's dashboard. Brilliant! Why not make use of it, I thought.

First of all, I changed the look of it just a bit. Also, I changed the comment permissions. Previously, it was set so that all comments were to be monitored, but ANYONE could make a comment. Looking over the comments in queue, I found that all of them were spam-related. I changed the permissions to allow comments only from people who actually sign up for this blog, which is easy to do. I did this strictly to discourage spam, however I will still attempt to monitor any comments in case a spammer thinks that he/she can merely join and be able to clutter up the comment area with irrelevant BS.

I hope any of you reading this will feel free to comment; I promise that I won't filter out people that I don't like... but I WILL remove any disruptive replies. This is MY blog, and I do not intend to let anyone wreck it! One more thing: if you would like to comment here, I would appreciate it if you would join with a recognizable Second Life user name. Cowardly anonymous postings will be discouraged. If you have something to say here, please be up front about it, as I have been.

I realize that some of you aren't going to like some of my views. As I once said in my other blog: TOUGH TITTIES. It's MY blog, and I'll say what I want to say.



Oh, you say you'll report me to LL? LMAO, go right ahead, this blog is not affiliated with them in any way. I'll print things as I see them. Granted, some will be butt-hurt over the more contentious topics, but there is a lot that needs to be said. Oh, you'll get a chance to give your own opinion. I may quote some of the better comments right here (so watch what you say), or I might even allow guest authors to post right here on the front page. Bear in mind, in no way am I advocating spam or pushing virtual products here, but I do think that it would be fair to allow others to participate. Uncensored, you ask? I don't think so, Tim. The shills and fanbois will not be allowed to wreck this board, but civilized rhetoric is to be encouraged.

If no one wants to speak up (yes, I know... it's all about peer pressure, isn't it?), that's fine too. I'll just drive on, unchecked. :)

By the way, I may deviate from the general topic of Second Life aviation, and delve into some of the more mundane aspects of SL and the Intarweb from time to time. So, stay tuned, and grab some popcorn. This could get interesting.
